I currently consider this work for Matchstick to be the best logo I have ever created. From the undulating wood grain lines and how they provide a contrast for the mechanical straight lines of the M, to the color choices and overall dynamic of the shapes with the word mark.
The client tasked me with creating an updated version of their very "childish" logo that they had been using for years with something professional and modern. After a few pencil sketches, I pushed them in this direction, and luckily they agreed. Great minds think alike?
I typically make very minimalistic logos, but sometimes the client needs something a bit more traditional. I created this logo around the client’s clever concept: They are a whiskey distiller, in Indiana, who sell exclusively to casinos. You get the double pun of “all-in” from poker, and from being in INdiana. Clever! A lot of detail in this one for sure.
Paper House Piñatas
The fastest logo I ever created (45 minutes), yet still one of my all time favorites. The client asked for simple and modern, so I used a clean font, with just a bit of tweaking of the letters to make it unique. The border is reminiscent of the colorful cut tissue paper used on the outside of the piñatas.
This aptly named structure serves as the go-to pop up store in the Portland region. Made out of simple packing containers, the client wanted a simple, yet bold logo for his business.

Local super-star bartender, Daniel Guillen, needed and identity of his own for his specialty cocktail nights around the Dallas area. I created this logo to feel "Prohibition era", including his signature blue glasses and custom jigger.
Bros Being Basic
The manager of the extremely popular Instagram profile, Bros Being Basic, tasked me with creating a "Bad Ass" logo for her to use for branding. If you follow the feed, you will see that is basically guys doing silly things to make fun of Basic girls on Instagram, so we need to show Masculine and Feminine at the same time. So an emoji skull pair with crossed Rosé bottles!
haus-of-izo is a start up fashion brand specializing in women's clothing, jewelry, and accessories.
I was tasked with using a limited and muted color scheme to create something clean and light. I created my own font for the word mark, and used a simple hexagon motif to represent a nod to the shape of a house. The three hexagons represent clothing, jewelry, and accessories.
Seattle's oldest dispensary needed a rebrand after the state of Washington passed new laws limiting how companies are branded.
I worked with the client closely to create not only suite of logos, but also outdoor signage.
