Maryland based Spencerville Deli reached out to me for a full redesign of their brand. Offering a mixture of Americana and El Salvadoran cuisine, the client wanted a unique look with a lot of character.
While conceptualizing with the client I noticed the big, antique red tractor she has in the front of the building. I instantly knew that would make a great icon to build the brand around.
SVD is located in a historical structure, so I utilized the roofline to frame the wordmark, using a custom edit of Henderson Slab for the text.
